Derek Howell

Producer/Promoter/Engineer/Composer

 

Derek is a world class live sound mixing engineer and a highly experienced artist/producer/engineer. With a bachelor's degree from The Art Institute, a certificate from Musician's Institute and two associates degrees from Everett Community College you can always expect the best. The Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach took on Derek as an intern teaching him each production position offered there. As the president of Stage and Studio Productions he now produces events on his own specializing in Festivals and Fairs. In 2011, he helped found Music at the View, a festival site in the Okanogan of Washington State. What Derek has in store for the future is equally exciting as he plans on opening a singer-songwriter studio in West LA named The Clinic.
